On The Road: Sacramento County Fair
This is a brand new series where I take IC Fantasia with me to my musical performances, events and speaking engagements, as I travel around the country living my dreams.
This past Memorial Day Weekend, I performed at the Sacramento County Fair and gave out free IC Fantasia samples to the fans. The Sacramento County Fair is one of the largest fairs in California drawing thousands of people every year.
Before I left for my trip, I made sure to style my hair in a low maintenance look. I call this hairstyle a cornrow side mohawk:
These are the IC Fantasia products I used to create this hairstyle:
Argan Oil Smoothing Serum
Coconut Oil Mist
Coconut & Castor Oil Edges Mega Hold Gel
This was my first time using all three of these products, and I loved how they made my hair look and feel.
I know many people are passionate about keeping their edges "laid", so I'll share some tips soon on how I keep my edges healthy, strong, and relatively smooth with a low-maintenance hair routine
The IC Fantasia products given away at the Sacramento County Fair were the Argan Oil Smoothing Serum & Argan Oil Curl Pudding.
On the first day, I led a bullying-prevention workshop at The Boys & Girls Club of Sacramento.
The Boys & Girls Club is one of my favorite charities and causes to support throughout the year. I had the privilege to speak and perform for almost 60 students ranging from elementary to high school age.
They were engaged, open, and brilliant.
One girl in particular was so touched by my message that she was in tears. I learned that she and her family had recently moved, and she was having a hard time making friends and was being bullied a lot.
I got the opportunity to encourage her and speak life to her dreams and destiny.
On the second and third day, I performed a total of five 45-minute sets of singing, dancing, live spoken word, and inspirational speaking.
My fans and the audience supported, loved my hair, and were ecstatic to receive free product samples from IC Fantasia.
I got such phenomenal feedback from the Sacramento County Fair attendees as well. Even the people who worked at the fair told me they were inspired, entertained, and uplifted by my voice and live show.
I am so thankful to be doing what I love and helping other people to step into their custom-made destinies too.
