Popular Ethnic Hair Product Company Launches Aloe Oil Line in Celebration
When brothers Paul and Archie Bogosian started Fantasia Hair Care in the early 1960s, they had no idea how popular their line of ethnic hair products would soon become. Armed with salon ownership expertise and the knowledge that the marketplace was demanding lines of specialized products to meet an array of client's needs. Fifty years later, with the majority of hair care product manufacturers out of business, the Bogosian brothers are still recognized and revered as innovators in an ever changing industry.
"Fantasia was started in 1964 by my brother Paul and me. We were both hairstylists in New York City, and owned three successful salons. We took our craft very seriously and over time, became very interested in the products that were used in our salons. However, we realized that both retail and professional products available at that time were not meeting the needs and expectations of the hair care industry we decided to do something about it., " said Archie Bogosian.
Fantasia started servicing the ethnic sector almost at the beginning of their existence. "We pride ourselves on being a multi-cultural brand— we saw this sector had a need and we are honored to serve it," said Archie Bogosian.
To celebrate their 50th year in business, Fantasia is launching a brand new line of products that are completely new in this marketplace. The IC Fantasia Aloe Oil hair treatment system includes the first to market Aloe Oil relaxer system. Aloe oil contains unique properties that significantly improve the moisture retention of hair while reducing the chance of breakage during the relaxing process.
"The Aloe Oil plant contains eight hair strengthening amino acids, so when we formulated this system we knew how important it would be to create a relaxer treatment that offers ultimate breakage protection," said Paul Bogosian.
In addition to the Aloe Oil Relaxer System, Fantasia is introducing a line of aloe oil hair maintenance products including:
- Aloe Strengthening Shampoo: Renews dull, lifeless hair caused by chemical and environmental damage.
- Aloe Oil Anti-Breakage Conditioner: Increases hair strength, elasticity, and seals hair cuticle to enhance shine.
- Aloe Oil Moisture Renewal Leave-In: Penetrates the hair shaft to provide deep conditioning, protects from heat styling, detangles, and adds luxurious softness.
- Aloe Oil Complete Hair Treatment: Weightless, healing, dry oil for damaged hair. Controls frizz and gives hair color and highlights a luminous glow, infusing hair with moisture and sheen.
The Aloe Oil relaxer is lye-free, the Aloe Oil maintenance products are all Sulfate free and paraben free. "
